There were times in my life where I didn't pay much attention to my dreams or what my heart really wanted. It's hard to hear your heart when you are so busy and I think living day to day in the grind, paying rent, surviving, living for the weekends - its easy to forget how to feel and its easy to lose touch with what you really want. I look back on all of the weekends I numbed my emotions I can't believe that somehow the things my heart still wanted survived. When I was a child there were roses planted along my house in these colors. I remember how much I loved the roses and how they taught me to dream. I would often check on them, pick them and scatter them throughout the house in small glasses. It doesn't matter what your dreams are; they are not too silly, they are not too big - they are worth feeling, remembering and having.
