Sometimes we are headed in a direction we think we want but then our pursuits get cut off for whatever reason; a twist of fate, a lack of support, resources or a sudden turn of events causes an end to that pursuit. Sometimes we never even know the reason but the door keeps slamming shut on us but there is so much beauty in the detours.
